Is where I’ve been. So much so I actually thought my last post was in May. And, was genuinely SHOCKED to see that it was at the end of February.
Even though I have not posted over the past few months, I ‘ve still been writing…kind-a, sort-a. I kept up morning pages fairly regularly, fiddled with a short story I’ve been working on and wrote two Flash Fiction pieces So not all has been lost.
In addition, I also began training for a half marathon on the date of my last post, February 19, 2019, with the goal of running the “Marine Corps Half,” on May 19, 2019. I’m happy to report I successfully completed my first-ever half marathon! I even beat my intended finish time by five minutes (2:55.35 – 13.23/mi)

I may not have posted regularly the past few months but I have been re-thinking the name and design of my blog.
You may have noticed I’ve changed its name to “Mozaik Ink.” I believe this captures the essence of my writing and life better.
My inspiration comes from a “mosaic” of people, places and things. The subject matter of my posts will continue to vary just like the interests and issues of my life.
Like me, this blog will remain a work in progress.
But for now, my priority was to post. Especially this month – August – the one year mark (8/8/18) of my foray into the blogosphere world.
I hope you will continue to join me on this journey.

Good company in a journey makes the way seem shorter. — Izaak Walton
